Meet The Author
Vanessa Crowther, DrPH
Dr. Vanessa B. Crowther, 30+ years of public health experience, university associate professor of research methods, statistics and program evaluation expert, published researcher and faith-driven author who believes deeply in the power of prayer and spiritual reflection. Her work has always centered on improving lives, empowering communities, and helping others find clarity through knowledge and purpose.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Crowther’s greatest testimony is her personal journey of faith.
Through seasons of joy, uncertainty, waiting, and silent prayers, she has developed a deep and abiding relationship with God. She understands that faith is not built solely in moments of celebration, but often in the quiet, difficult spaces where answers seem delayed or not what shehoped and prayed for.
Her writing is inspired by real-life experiences—moments where prayers were whispered, tears were shed, and hope had to be held onto with intention. Over time, she began to recognize a powerful truth: God was always present, always listening, and always working—even when it was not immediately visible.
This journal is an extension of that journey. Through it, she encourages others to slow down, reflect, and recognize the evidence of God’s faithfulness in their own lives.
The Inspiration Behind the Journals
A Journal of Answered Prayers to Build Faith I wrote this journal from a deeply personal place. There were times in my life when I prayed with expectation, believing wholeheartedly that God would answer. But as time passed, I found myself wondering if my prayers were being heard… or if the answers were simply “not yet” or “no.”
In those moments, it was easy to focus on what hadn’t happened or what didn’t happen.
But everything changed when I began to reflect. When I looked back over my life—not just at what I was still waiting for, but at what had already unfolded—I began to see something I had missed before:
God had been answering my prayers all along. Not always in the way I imagined. Not always in the timing I desired. But always with purpose, protection, and provision.
This book and interactive Journals were created to help you experience that same realization.
So often, we overlook the prayers that have already been answered because we are focused on the ones still pending. These Journals create space for you to pause, write, reflect, and recognize God’s hand in your life.
It is more than a book, more than Journals—they are faith-building tools.
My prayer is that as you use these pages, you will:
